Illinois Republican Convention 2008

The 2008 Convention of the Illinois Republican Party was this weekend... I had wanted to do some live-blogging from Decatur, but this was not possible (due to time and logistical issues).
Our UIS CR chapter was the only College Republicans organization that had a major presence at this Convention, which is held once every four years (just like the Republican National Convention, which will be a few months from now, in Minneapolis).

Chairman, Brandon Guiliano, was selected to be a full-fledged Convention Delegate, as was I. Other current and former Executive Board officers, and members of our organization, were also registered attendees, at this major event.
